Once again, we had our annual Kindle Malaysia fan gathering at Belanga Cafe.
The gathering was attended by some 20 Kindle Malaysia fans from all around Klang Valley. Granted, the reading population is a minority in Malaysia, and thus we are heartened when we to see Kindle Fans coming together to discuss books and Amazon services they love.
The fact that at the peak of pokemon frenzy, there are people who turned up on a lazying Saturday morning, not to catch pokemon go, but to come to a reading-sharing gathering is even more remarkable.
Let’s bring the torch of reading to the rest of Malaysia!
