The Kindle warranty lasts for one year, starting from the day you purchase the item in Malaysia, as stipulated in Amazon’s warranty policy.
If you have any issues with the device within a (1) year of your purchase in Malaysia, you may email us at Admin@KindleMalaysia.com or contact Amazon directly (for non-eReader Malaysia fans) for support. If that didn’t resolve the problem, the Amazon would replace or repair the device as long as the warranty is still valid.
Here are the following steps one can follow in order to get a replacement in the case of product damage, provided that your device is still under warranty:
- You may contact eReader Malaysia directly at Admin@KindleMalaysia.com or +6012465 2232.
- Please send your unit along with the original box to eReader Malaysia Fan Office @ Shah Alam. Kindly remove any Micro SD Card or eBooks before sending your faulty Kindle/Fire Tablet unit back to eReader Malaysia.
- Upon warranty claim, repaired or replacement unit will be shipped from US and back to your door step in Malaysia within 21 working days for free. You will enjoy one (1) Year Amazon Standard Warranty for your replacement unit. In the event of second (2nd) or repeated Amazon Warranty claim, eReader Malaysia will charge RM350 for each 2nd or repeated Amazon Standard Warranty Claim to cover shipping fees from Malaysia to US and vice versa.
For non-eReader Malaysia Fans, we will still assist you entirely in this process (eReader Fan Club Library Membership + Shipping Fees).
